Listening to Podcasts Via the Website
Requirements
You'll need a computer with internet access. Also, install Adobe Flash Player if you don't already have it.
How to Listen
- Visit Podcast.ucsd.edu
- Select a class
- Select a lecture and it will start playing
Listening to Podcasts Via the iTunes - via iTunes Link
Requirements
You'll need a Mac or Windows computer with iTunes installed and internet access.
How to Listen
- If you don't have iTunes, download it and install it.
- Visit Podcast.ucsd.edu
- Click on the corresponding iTunes link (
) for your class.
- If you're using Internet Explorer, you may see a message saying
"A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer." Check the box for
Do not show me the warning for this program again and click Allow.

- If you're using Firefox, you may see a message called External Protocol Request. Check the box for
Remember my choice for all links of this type and click Launch application.

- If you're using Internet Explorer, you may see a message saying
"A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer." Check the box for
Do not show me the warning for this program again and click Allow.
- After you click the "iTunes" link, the lecture will be added to your list of Podcasts in
iTunes. Once it has downloaded,
double-click on the lecture to play it.
- To download all the previous lectures, first, click the triangle to the left of the lecture name.
Then, click the "Get All" button to the right of the lecture.

Requirements

Download via the Flash player
- Visit Podcast.ucsd.edu and select a course.
- Click on the small icon to the far right of the lecture you want to download.

Download via RSS Feed
- Visit Podcast.ucsd.edu and click on the RSS feed for a course.

- Click on the title or file to download it. It varies from browser to browser.
